Hi James I've nearly finished the first draft for you to read. I have already decided on the pictures to go with it so it should be coming soon. I haven't written anything like this since I left college - I'm not sure whether its fun or torture! I wish I were stronger editorially. It will be interesting to see what people think. And I'll second what you said about Mishas work - I love it too. What you need now is an enormous canvas of it

Here is a shot I took about 3 miles from the Farallon Islands off San Fransisco. Had the extraordinary luck of finding a dead blue whale being fed upon by white sharks. This image is special to me because this event has only been observed and recorded a handful of times in all of human history. I also really like it because you can see the white nictitating membrane cover the eye as it bites...Hope you enjoy it... Canon 20D 300 mm for 1/500 @ f/8 ISO 100
