These fellows are really a type of worm filtering the water to enjoy a nightly snack. At near 60ft. deep my strobe caught a slice of their late lunch. The largest of these feather dusters in the photo were about the size of a fifty cent piece.

I was scuba diving after dark in the Caribbean. I took my pentax and my Ike housing and strobe along to the dive site. While searching for subjects with a flashlight I spotted this animal. There are plenty subjects to choose from but this one kept my attention as the slight current kept this feather duster working hard. Did you know that 90% of all living organisms live in or under the water?
