A little about James Morrissey

I have been photographing dogs as my primary subject since 2010, when Judy Davis brought me in to perform portraits at the Green Room for the Westminster Dog Show at the Pennsylvania Hotel. We photographed at the Penn until 2020, right up until the COVID pandemic ended Westminster at the Garden. In 2021, we got our first show dog (Wyatt, black and tan Finnish Lapphund) and in 2022, we added Logan (Sable Finnish Lapphund). We have gotten so much into showing the dogs - it is something both my wife and I have really enjoyed. What a value added in our lives.

In 2022, we photographed our first Nationals for the Samoyed Club of America in Sacramento, California. In 2024, we reprised the roll, this time in Corpus Christi, Texas. We are contracted for 2025 in Ohio. Gotta love those fluffy dogs.

Here are some photos of me showing my two dogs, Wyatt and Logan - both of whom will be at the Westminster Dog Show in February 2025. My wife, Chanthee, also shown below, will be handling Wyatt.
